About
#about7 years of coaching competitive volleyball across club and high school, totaling 30+ team-seasons managed across multiple concurrent programs every year. Coached at multiple Arizona high schools at every level (frosh through varsity) plus long-running club travel rosters with Aspire Volleyball Club.
Players of every skill level, from complete beginners to a player selected for the USA U19 & U21 Teams. Most recently winning Regionals with Aspire 15 White and wrapping the Spring 2026 season with Crismon HS Boys JV. Currently head coaching Summer League and assistant coaching Boys 13-1's Vision (club).
One pass, one set, one hit. Simple is always better than complex. This is the focus point that allows my players to compete freely.

Volleyball is a random and chaotic sport. Keeping the answers simple allows repeatability and higher performance, and higher understanding from the athlete.

The only way to truly achieve a standard worth attaining is to maintain it through the highs and the lows. It simply does not change.

Little things first.
If you can't do the little things right, you'll never be able to do the big things right. The things that don't show up on the scoreboard impact it more than players realize.

Youth athletics is not supposed to feel draining for your players. Keeping it fun and engaging is an absolute must.
